Get ready to pick your way through our gorgeous Gala Apple Orchard...these crisp, juicy apples are waiting for you to take them home! Whether you're baking pies, making cider, or just enjoying a sweet snack, our apples are as delicious as they are beautiful. 

Grab a bag at the Gold Trail Goody Shack, soak up the fall vibes, and pick the freshest apples straight from the tree—because nothing says autumn like a U-Pick adventure at Horsting’s! Learn more details below.

Upon arrival, please check in at the Farm Market or the Gold Trail Goody Shack to collect your bag and speak with one of our friendly staff members. They will provide you with all the necessary information, including the best spots for picking that day!

Can we Bring our Own Bags?

No! Please only use the bags provided by Horsting's Farm Market. Bags are included with your ticket and you are able to pick them up at the Gold Trail Goody Shack. 

Can I Just Show up to U-Pick? 

We highly suggest purchasing your tickets in advance! That way all you have to do is check in at the Farm Market or Gold Trail Goody Shack and pick up your pail! 

What Types of Apples are Available for U-Pick?

We currently only grow Gala Apples

Are the U-Pick Fields Open Rain or Shine?

Yes! Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear suitable shoes. Even mornings can be quite hot, so ensure you have the necessary gear, including water, sunscreen, and heat-appropriate clothing like a hat, umbrella if needed, and comfortable walking shoes.

Can I Bring My Dog?

Yes! Dogs are allowed in the apple orchard, but please make sure to clean up after any mess they make!

Can I Bring a Small Child?

Absolutely! With parent supervision, this is a fun family activity.

How Many People Can I Bring?

You can bring as many people as you like! Since you’re purchasing by the bag, feel free to bring as much or as little help as you need.

• Please only use the bags Horsting's Farm Market provided - they are yours to keep!
• Although it may be tempting, please do not eat any of the apples while you are in the orchard
• Prices and availability are weather-dependent and are subject to change at any given time. Updates will be posted to social media and our website
• Please do not pick any apples that have already fallen off the tree!
